Handmade Hazel Wood & Blackened Stainless Steel Handle • 230mm

Bring nature and individuality into your space with this handcrafted cabinet handle, designed for kitchens, bathrooms, and anywhere thoughtful design matters. Each handle is formed from a carefully selected piece of Hazel wood, a species known for its distinctive (and tough!) bark. The wood is treated with a food-safe oil finish to enhance its natural texture and protect it for daily use, giving it a tactile feel that only improves with time. This is our widest handle at 230mm and we recommend it for larger kitchens and cabinets.

This Hazel handle is mounted on machine-knurled stainless steel stems that have been blackened by hand, using a traditional cold bluing process. This treatment creates a rich, matte-black finish that softens the steel’s natural brightness while offering a deeper, adaptable tone. It’s an excellent option for interiors with darker finishes or where contrast is key. The construction is entirely mechanical, no adhesives, ensuring durability while celebrating the authenticity of the materials.

Optional Backing Plate: Blackened Stainless Steel. Recommended if you're replacing old handles, the backing plate neatly covers any scuffs or marks left by previous fittings.

Your cabinet thickness

Simple maintenance practices, such as a gentle whipe with warm soapy water and an occasional re-oiling, can effectively preserve the longevity of your handles.

We would recommend oiling the handles 3 months after purchase, and then every 1-2 years after that.

We encourage you to refer to the care instructions included with each item, designed to help you keep your purchase in top condition.

Our leadtime is currently 3 weeks, this is the time it takes for us to make your handles and how long you should expect to wait before we can ship them too you.

Once we've built your handles, we'll ship them safely within 3 working days and keep you up to date the whole time.

We're happy to accept partial or full returns for any reason up to 30 days from delivery. Just let us know and we'll get it sorted.

Custom hole spacing

The distance between the stems (and therefore, the mounting holes) on our handles is as standard:

230s - 160mm hole spacing

160s - 95mm hole spacing

You may wish to have a different measurement for your cabinets, especially if you're replacing existing handles.
